About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Water Damage Mitigation Lead to lead and manage our mitigation crew in responding to water damage emergencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water mitigation, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality service and safety standards on every job. This position typically requires a minimum of 40 hours per week, with overtime expected based on workload, emergency response needs, and job demands.

Key Responsibilities:
● Lead and supervise water damage mitigation projects from start to finish
● Coordinate and direct crew members on-site
● Ensure proper use of drying equipment, tools, and safety gear
● Perform water extraction, structural drying, and demolition when necessary
● Document work thoroughly using job management software and proper paperwork
● Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and project managers
● Monitor moisture levels and progress throughout the job
● Train and mentor technicians to ensure consistent performance
● Maintain a clean and organized work environment and vehicle

Qualifications:
● Minimum 2 years of experience in water damage restoration or mitigation
● Prior supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred
● IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification required or must be obtained within 90 days
● Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
● Must be able to pass a background check
● Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and be on your feet for extended periods
● Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
● Must be available for occasional after-hours and weekend work as needed
